AAA Magazine Calls NYC Jamaican Jerk Festival a “Must-Attend” Event

AAA Today magazine has listed some 50 festivals occurring in the summer of 2016 in the New York City area, and it has described the Jamaican Jerk Festival as a “must attend” celebration. On July 17, the sixth staging of the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival NY, billed as the largest Caribbean food festival in the NYC area, will be held in Roy Wilkins Park in Queens. It has traditionally attracted over 20,000 participants from all ethnic groups who gather to sample authentic Caribbean cuisine, dance to Jamaican reggae music and celebrate the region’s culture and arts. It is one of the most anticipated festivals of the year and showcases the vibrancy and pride of New York City’s Caribbean community.
