Day 268 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Expand Your Dining Horizons with Jamaican Chinese Food

Jamaica has great food. China has great food. And when the two cultures come together, it’s undoubtedly great. The Chinese have always been an integral part of the island’s history since their arrival in 1854. The Chinese tradition of honoring family meshed well with the family-centered cultures of other early arrivals from Africa and India, and nothing says family like a well-cooked meal. One unique Jamaican-Chinese dish you must try is Suey Mein, combining an egg roll, shrimp, Chinese roasted chicken, egg noodles, and Chinese BBQ pork. yummy!
