Day 344 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Whistle Up Some Relaxation at Whistling Bird

This unique island resort is set within an exotic, lush landscape. The cottages at Whistling Bird are dispersed throughout the property, surrounded by tropical gardens and are totally private. Each cottage is unique in its own way, but all have been created to provide a real Jamaican experience for guests. The cottages are named after various birds on the island, such as “Parakeet” or “Nightingale,” and have one, two or three bedrooms. Each one features luxury woods and local art works, with many cottages built in an octagon shape. Some cottages have verandas and some have vaulted ceilings. There is something for everyone, with the décor featuring bamboo, local rock, and regional woods.
