Day 361 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Have Lobster at Cynthia’s

Enjoy a lobster lunch at Cynthia’s in Winnifred Beach, Port Antonio. Winnifred Beach is also called Fairy Hill Beach and is a hidden jewel among the attractions in Portland. Situated at the bottom of a steep hill, it is one of the most beautiful beaches in Jamaica. Usually quiet, the beach is mostly visited by locals who come on weekends and holidays. Cynthia’s started as a small shack and wood fire on the beach, but in 2001, the restaurant was destroyed by fire and then rebuilt to its current size, which reflects its popularity. It has been featured on the CNN network television series “Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown.”
