Saint International’s Deiwght Peters showcased his vision of high fashion while celebrating his native Jamaica’s culture and national treasures through Style Week Jamaica 2012.

Now in its seventh year, Style Week, which took place May 24-27, was indeed a visual taste of the island’s heritage, style, and language. Catwalks graced national monuments including Devon House, Port Royal’s Fort Charles, and King’s House. Taking cues from the island’s landscape, mountains, and azure blue sea, noted Caribbean designers showed off their works of art in flowy, breezy colourful fabrics.
