Jamaica is a much-desired destination for eco-adventurers, but there is a wide range of activities and sites of interest for visitors. These include the Bob Marley Museum and the Rastafari Indigenous Village, in addition to its numerous excellent beaches sun-and-surf lovers. Hotel accommodations are affordable as well. Oyster.com, which is affiliated with SmarterTravel, reports that the average hotel rate in Jamaica totals $155 per night, and there are many options for less expensive hotels. The lowest rates are found between May and October, so this period is recommended for budget travelers. One of the accommodations recommended by the site: Marblue Villa Suites. The venue offers clean and colorful rooms in a beachfront location and rates under $125 per night. Another budget venue is the Westender Inn, which features an infinity pool with ocean views.
