Five Best Beaches in Jamaica

No matter where you are in the Jamaica there is a beautiful beach to visit close by. How do you choose which beach to visit? Here are our favorites in no particular order.

Negril Seven Mile Beach – Negril’s has been rated as one of the top ten beaches in the world by many travel magazines. The Seven mile stretch is lined with beach restaurants, bars and night clubs. The scenery is exquisite and the water is shallow which makes it safe for families.

Doctor Cave Beach – Doctor Cave Beach is secluded from the busy “hip strip” and yet strategically located in Montego Bay. You only need to take mere steps from world-famous Doctors Cave Beach and moments from tennis, golf, horseback riding and Jamaica’s colorful markets and duty-free shopping.

Puerto Seco Beach– Located in Discovery Bay, the white sand public beach is perfect for a day out with family and friends .The beach has a fun park with water slides. Your children will love the  activities there .

James Bond Beach – Located east of Ocho Rios and near Port Maria the beach named after the  world famous British spy, James Bond Beach. It offers fabulous views and a heavenly tropical setting. it is one of the most recommended beaches in Jamaica.  James Bond Beach is close to Port Maria, making town explorations a definite possibility during a visit. Among the activities available at James Bond Beach are snorkeling and traveling the seas in a glass-bottomed boat, kayak, or wave runner.

Treasure Beach – The gigantic waves is quite a delight.  Located within the parish of St. Elizabeth, Treasure Beach is well-regarded across Jamaica as having the friendliest, hardest working people on the island,.
