The Inter-American Forum on Microenterprise, known as FOROMIC, an important international event that focuses on financial innovation, inclusion, and entrepreneurship, will be held in Jamaica for the first time in its history. The event, which is scheduled for October 24-26, 2016 and is expected to attract some 1,500 participants from more than 40 nations, will allow for a sharing of knowledge and experiences in regard to entrepreneurship. The event is organized by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) through the Multilateral Investment Fund (IMF).
