Just like Marcia Griffiths, Judy Mowatt performed for the world as a member of Bob Marley’s backing vocal trio…the I 3s. And also, just like Marcia, Judy recorded some sensational solo albums during those years. Although not as prolific, her Roots music and Gospel flavoured recordings established Judy as a talent in her own right. More recently Judy Mowatt has recorded strictly Christian material and in doing so has cultivated a whole new following.
