The Ocho Rios Jazz Festival, in the Jamaican “village of eight rivers”, features internationally renowned performers from the island itself and around the world. There are free public concerts, a school band competition, a Jamaican ska night and sunset jazz.

The local performers at the 2010 festival include Desi Jones Skool, the Ouida Lewis Trio and Fab 5 Inc Ska Revival. Kingsley Ettienne, Walter Bland and Climate Exchange and Effie Burt are just a few of the international artists.
