On Sunday, September 24, The People Profile Awards 2023 unfolded as a captivating evening brimming with excellence and entertainment at the Faith Centre in Sunrise, Florida. The event was held under the theme “Together We Are Stronger” by the People Profile Organization, in partnership with the University of Fort Lauderdale.

Celebrating Excellence

The awards ceremony showcased 16 distinctive categories, including the prestigious “Humanitarian,” “Media,” “Sportsman of the Year,” and “Courage” Awards. One of the evening’s key highlights was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement award to renowned Jamaican track coach Glen Mills, who has dedicated more than five decades to mentoring Jamaican athletes.

In 2015, the esteemed Lecturer and Businessman Dr. Allan Cunningham established the People Profile Awards with a noble objective: to acknowledge those whose narratives serve as a wellspring of inspiration, motivation, or education, all while championing charitable causes. Taking center stage as the evening’s affable host was Norman Hemming, lending his charm to this grand celebration of excellence.
