See visions again

Days when cares of life weighs heavily on my heart
Leaving hungry a mind a soul a’thirst
I journey back in time along Jack’s River bank
Drinking again the pure stream of beauteous memories
Earthy women washing clothes in river bed
Under the warm Caribbean sun
Old hopes old dreams welling up
Again within my soul along the river stream
With frolicking children pure unrestrained laughter
Bringing freshness and cleaness to my soul
I return only when I begin to dream
And see visions again.
