Jamaica’s Veronica Campbell beat American defending champion Lauryn Williams in a photo finish to win the women’s 100-meter final at the 2007 World Championships on Monday. Campbell and Williams were given the same time of 11.01 seconds and it took the judges several minutes to award the race to the Jamaican. (WCSN, WCSN.com)
