VIDEO: Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce smashes 40-year-old Pan Am Games record

 

On Friday, August 9th, Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce broke the 40-year-old Pan American Games 200-meter record. Shelly-Ann, who is a two-time Olympic 100 champion clocked 22.43 seconds in Lima, Peru the venue of the 2019 Pan American Games.  The previous record of 22.45 was set by American Evelyn Ashford in 1979.
