Hello……..I have been to Jamaica four times. I have loved every time and always wanted to move there. I never want to leave.
It is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I’ve been to Negril in good and bad weather. I have been horseback riding in the mountains as well as the beach. I have seen Bob Marley’s memorial and been to the YS Falls. I might add that I do like the YS Falls best. I have rented dirt bikes and mopeds and traveled to other towns to see the island and taste all the food. I have been to Sav. La Mar climbing the hills and learning about the land and trees. I have been to caves, but never dove off the ledge at Rick’s Cafe. haha.
I will never understand why the people that I ride back to the airport with never will leave their “all-inclusive” resorts. Big deal pay a lot of money to stay at one place and see the same thing you could see on their own beaches at home. I think it shows no respect for the people of the country that is sharing their beauty with them.
I love adventure and wish that I could afford my on taste in travel. Four times was never enough for me. I’m sorry to say that I never made it to the other side of the island like I wanted. Maybe my next trip.
Please tell people to be careful of driving. Not like the streets of home. I would tell people to pay close attention at all times. If they want to look around, then pull off the road and stop the car or what is driven. Make their trip pleasant for all that they come in contact with. Try to understand that they are in someone else’s home and they must not abuse or insult the people or the land they are visiting. The earth has only been lent to us and we should show some respect for it.
Thank you for letting me ramble on about my trips. This is only a short note for all I could say, but I’m trying to keep it short. (smile)
Till another trip I make………….Judy
