JOB TITLE: Embroidery Digitizer

LOCATION:  Sun Island Jamaica, Kingston

DESCRIPTION: Work within Illustrator and embroidery software to create stitching from art files; Determine best practices for quality embroidery graphics, including thread type and thickness, type of stitch, thread direction, material, etc.; Manipulate art files to make them production ready for embroidery; Cut appliqués and sew out samples for approval

QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in digitizing graphics for embroidery is a plus; Ability to design using Illustrator and Photoshop; Ability to trouble-shoot and maintain embroidery equipment is a plus; Must have an artistic eye for detail and be able to offer suggestions for improved results; Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, multi-project environment; Must be able to work in a team environment; Professional conduct with excellent verbal and written communication skills
