Jamaican sprint champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce was a stand-out at the women’s 100-meter finals at the World Championships in Beijing, China, as she matched her hair to her team’s colors. Fraser-Pryce sported green-colored hair ornamented with yellow daises. Asked why, she said “Daisies are pretty, yellow and pretty.”  In addition to her dramatic appearance, her 100-meter finals performance was just as noteworthy: she finished in 10.76 sec seconds to win her 3rd World Championship 100m gold medal for Jamaica.
